The Idea: Make an original one of a kind DVD of the leaked footage.
This began the usual thought process and it went something like this "How can I make a DVD that would guarantee to be considered one of the best?What could I include that would draw the most attention from fans?"I know I am a good editor, but I am sure there are better, just as experienced video editing NIN fans. Besides, this is not about me, this is about... well, shit, it's all for the fans of nine inch nails,right? Right. That was it. That was when I thought "What brought the fans together in the past other than being slammed and packed like sardines together at the concerts?"I had just as much fun making videos for the "Ghosts" tracks as I did at the concert. I was sure I made more friends through my Ghosts video submissions than I did at the concert, shit, if anything I made some enemies that night.
So I began to contact the video artists on youtube who had blown my mind with their videos and got nothing but good feedback on my idea. I threw a post up here and since have been collecting videos of the highest quality possible from the different friends I have made through the "Ghosts" film festival.

So thank you to NIN & youtube! This is all being done 100%free, no one is making money off this dvd, it's all for you guys!

APRIL 2009
I'll upload the finished project on all the major torrent sites. There will be two files, DVD ONE will contain "NIN LIVE" while DVD TWO will be a seamlessly edited "Ghosts" video, combining all the most uniqueand original videos together and, of course, in the end, credit will be given where credit is due.
I really hope to find a mind bending video for all 36 tracks, all by different video directors. Again help is appreciated in finding the videos you believe are the best!

MAY 01, 2009 - NIN LIVE: HEAD DOWN DVD AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD FREE!
Going equally between what was the best out of sound & video of the Victoria,Sacramento and Portland shows, my NIN LIVE project will be made available 100% free to download.

JUNE 2009 - "GHOSTS" SPECIAL FEATURES DVD
Having not enoughtime to find 36 videos from different video artists within the 'GhostsFilm Festival' over at youtube.com, I am going to take more time, which gives everyone some extra time to submit more videos.

I couldn't feel more appreciated, as we all know how critical NIN fans are, I have gotten nothing but positive responses!

The NIN GHOST DVD is on it's way!!
There are a few video artists who have yet to send me a copy of their video, I am waiting patiently and look forward to authorizing the DVD.
The videos collected so far are mind-blowing and I am humbled to get to work with such talent.

The NIN Ghost DVD will include:
Bonus Footage not included on the NIN: HEAD DOWN DVD
Waiting for Nine Inch Nails mockumentary
and 18 Music Videos, chosen as the most unique videos, from the Ghosts Film Festival.

UPDATE:

The current free torrent download of NIN LIVE: HEAD DOWNover at www.demonoid.com is maintaining a healthy status, thanks toyou! And I thank you all very much for the comments and positivefeedback.

I will be releasing a NIN LIVE: HEAD DOWN DVD in 5.1 surround sound stereo at the same time as the bonus NIN GHOST DVD. Which unlike the first DVD, will include footage of "The Wretched", "Closer", "Wish", "Head Like A Hole" as well as "Waiting for Nine Inch Nails" and the most unique works from the Ghosts Film Festival.

Below is a list of the Ghosts tracks I have not found quality videos for as of yet:

26 Ghosts III
30 Ghosts IV
34 Ghosts IV

So again, your help in finding the best videos for the followingtracks amongst those submitted in the Ghosts Film Festival, is neededand appreciated.

If I do not find videos for the tracks listed above by June 24th, Iwill have to move on and authorize the DVD without these tracks.

The NIN GHOST DVD - tentative release date: JUNE 27th, 2009

Before this date a teaser trailer for the DVD will be released onmy youtube channel, I will post the link here as soon as it is up.

I've decided to release the bonusfootage from the "Lights in the Sky" tour on it's own DVD, separatefrom the fan Ghosts videos. It is taking more time than expected forsome of the video artists to send their work to me.

I am going to re-package the NIN LIVE: HEAD DOWN torrent. I am going to add a 5.1 audio track to the first disc and have a second disc, containing the bonus footage.

The Ghost DVD will have to wait...
